BOOKING
How soon should we book our session?
It’s always best to reserve your date as early as possible. Availability changes frequently, I’m unable to hold dates without a deposit.
How do I reserve my date?
Start by checking with me for availability. Let me know your ideal dates and I’ll check my availilbility to see what options are open. Once we’ve chosen a date that works and I have received your deposit, your session is officially reserved and added to my calendar.
Why Is a Deposit Required?
Your deposit secures your session date and is applied toward the total cost. Because it reserves your time on my calendar, it is non-refundable. The remaining balance is due on the day of your session. When a date is reserved, that time is held specifically for your family. If the session is not honored, another family loses the opportunity to book that spot.
Payment
What forms of payment do you accept?
Venmo is the easiest and most commonly used option for deposits and payments. If you prefer, I can also send an invoice that accepts credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Buy Now and Pay Later options such as Klarna or Affirm. Please note that invoiced payments include a 3% service fee. For those paying by card, I can also follow up after your session with a secure Tap to Pay option right on the beach.
When is the remaining balance due?
The remaining balance is due on the day of your session.
Planning Your Session
How long are beach sessions?
Beach sessions typically last around 45 minutes, which allows plenty of time for a variety of family groupings, candid moments, and individual portraits.
What should we wear?
Sea-inspired or earthy tones tend to complement the beach setting beautifully. Neutral colors, soft patterns, flowy dresses, and bare feet often create a timeless look. Soft blues and greens, warm earthy hues, and jewel tones all photograph well against the natural colors of the beach. Most importantly, wear something that feels comfortable and natural for your family—when you feel comfortable in your outfit, it shows in your expressions.
Is there an additional fee for large groups?
Yes. My Extended Family Package for groups of 9–12 people starts at $700. For families over 12, an additional $15 per person is added to account for the extra editing and time often needed during the session.
Location
Where is Henderson State Park located?
Henderson Beach State Park is located in Destin, Florida, along Highway 98. Many of my beach sessions take place near the pavilion access points inside the park.
Do you travel outside of the area?
Yes. A $50 travel fee applies to beach sessions more than 30 miles away. Home or condo sessions are priced slightly higher due to lighting and setup. For destination sessions, out-of-state travel, or home studio sessions, please inquire for a custom quote.
Weather & Scheduling
What happens in the event of weather?
Rain and small storms are common along the Gulf Coast. I keep a close eye on the weather the morning of your session and will be in touch if any adjustments are needed. A little flexibility may be necessary. If needed, your session may be moved earlier in the day to avoid passing rain or heavy overcast. In the case of a complete rainout, we will first try to reschedule. If rescheduling isn’t possible, I will refund your deposit.
Can we reschedule our session?
Sessions may be rescheduled depending on availability. If a session is canceled or rescheduled for reasons unrelated to weather, deposits are non-refundable since that time has been reserved specifically for your family.
Editing & Delivery
How Many Images Will I Receive?
You’ll receive all edited images from your session, with only blinks and obvious outtakes removed. Your gallery includes high-resolution downloads and full personal printing rights. For larger families, galleries can sometimes include 100 or more images.
Do you edit every image?
Each session is thoughtfully edited to reflect the unique light and atmosphere of the day as it was captured. I do not use standard presets or one-size-fits-all filters, as I believe every sunset—and every story—is distinct. My goal is to preserve the authentic colors and feeling of each moment while staying true to the natural beauty of the setting. Please note that skies and lighting may vary depending on the time of day and weather conditions, and that variation is an intentional part of the storytelling process. My editing style focuses on natural, timeless imagery rather than heavy retouching or artificial effects.
What is your turnaround time?
Beach session galleries are typically delivered within 7–10 business days, while weddings are delivered within 3–6 weeks. Completing your final payment at the end of the session ensures your gallery enters the editing queue right away.
Do You Offer Sneak Peeks?
I do not offer sneak peeks. Prioritizing complete galleries allows me to deliver your images more quickly.
Do you offer retouching services?
Yes. I offer additional retouching for images that may need more detailed adjustments. This can include things like correcting sunburn with my Sun-Kissed Skin Correction service, as well as hair, skin, and beauty enhancements when needed.
Advanced beauty retouching—such as frequency separation and dodge and burn techniques—is also available. Detailed retouching starts at $25 per image. For more extensive work, please inquire for a quote.
Do you deliver RAW files?
RAW files are not delivered. Your gallery includes fully edited high-resolution images that represent my finished work and the style you see throughout my portfolio.
Gallery, Printing & Image Use
How will I receive my images?
Your images will be delivered through an online gallery. From there, you can view and download high-resolution files, share your photos with family and friends, and access the built-in print store to order professional prints, wall art, and custom Christmas cards directly from your gallery.
How long will our online gallery remain available?
Your online gallery will remain available for 12 months. If you would ever like access restored after that time, I’m happy to reactivate the gallery for another year for a $25 reactivation fee.
Can we order prints through you?
Yes. Professional prints, canvas wall art, and custom Christmas cards can be ordered directly from your online gallery through the built-in print store. This makes it easy to turn your images into lasting keepsakes.

What is included in your elopement package?
Elopement coverage includes the ceremony, bride and groom portraits, and group photos with family and friends.
Do you offer studio or other types of photography?
Yes. I offer a range of additional photography services including product photography, headshots, events, studio portraits, senior portraits, and more. Please inquire about your project.
